A couple months ago I was asked to participate in a Totem pole project in honour of Freda Diesing, who has passed. I was so honoured to be a part of sIMG_573nn3uch a traditional First Nations art. Joe Mandur, the main artist, made carving look so easy. It was one of the hardest things I have done. At the end of carving a little bit of the 40-foot Totem pole IMG_5hh737

Joe donated a beautiful First Nations painting for me to auction off for Free the Children. He has taken pictures with everyone that has carved on the pole and will be making an album with them.
